The University of Benin UNIBEN Post Utme Screening Exercise for 2013/2014 academic session will take place on the 13th and 14th July 2013 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of UNIBEN. All candidates are expected to be seated, latest, one hour before the stipulated time for the screening exercise.
Only the candidates who chose UNIBEN as First Choice and scored 200 and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the Screening Exercise.

HOW TO APPLY FOR 2013/2014 UNIBEN POST UTME

Application Closing Date: 08/07/2013 23:59:00
Application Fee: 3550.0
Those applicants that could not upload their passport photographs but paid the application fee should come for the screening with:
  • the original JAMB slip and password photograph on it for identification,
  • a 1”x 1” passport photograph with a red background,
  • printouts of application and payment slips,
  • any other document that can generally identify the applicant
Applicants are to come to the screening centres with the following:
  • acknowledgement slip and bank teller for identification,
  • four figure table (where applicable),
  • writing materials (HB pencil and eraser)
Note that GSM phones and calculators are not allowed.

This is to inform all candidates, who chose Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) as first and/or second choice in the 2013 Direct Entry and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 and above, that they are invited to the University’s screening exercise for admission in 2013/2014 Academic Session.


SUBJECTS FOR SCREENING


Candidates will be screened for knowledge in the relevant UME subjects for their chosen course of study.

HOW TO REGISTER


Please note that registration should only be done using a computer system. Do not attempt to use your mobile phone or device.

1) Candidates are required to visit www.delsuonline.com to generate a virtual PIN with N2,000.00 (two thousand naira) only for the screening and for accessing the result online. This does not include bank charges of N1,000.

PROCEDURE TO GENERATE VIRTUAL PIN

(i) www.delsuonline.com

(ii) Click on the text that says "Online application for Admission"

(iii) On the page that loads, Click "Start"

(iv) Then Click Post-UTME or Post-Direct entry

(v) Click Start

(vi) Complete the form with valid JAMB Registration Number

(vii) Submit the form and generate PIN

(viii) Print out the PIN generated

(ix) Visit any of the specified banks below for payment and ask to make payment for DELSU Post-UTME

Ensure that Jamb Registration No. and Names are correctly entered so that Errors will not be entertained.

2)(a) Once the payment has been made. Candidates should come back to this publication and click here. On the page that loads up, click on "CONTINUE" to access the portal to complete your information. Enter the reference number given to you at the bank with their recent coloured passport sized photograph scanned to the JPEG format and not more than 20kb in size.

(b) Candidates are advised to use the virtual PIN immediately after payment, as it will be invalid after six (6) hours after its generation.

(c) Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the front page of the website before completing the form.

(d) Candidates must confirm the JAMB registration number at the point of application, as there will be no result for wrong JAMB registration numbers. The University will not be held responsible for wrong JAMB registration number entered and other errors made by any applicant at the point of application. Your application will not be successful if you enter a Local Government/State of original different from the one indicated on your JAMB registration form.

(e) Candidates must enter a valid mobile phone number and e-mail address with which the University will communicate with candidates on venue.

(f) Candidates should visit www.delsu.edu.ng to print venue of examination a day after closure of application form.

(g) Candidates are expected to identify their venue and seat number before the scheduled date of examination.

(h) Candidates are required to come to the screening venue with the following:
i. A copy of print-out of venue and seat number
ii. A copy of the Print-out of completed on-line confirmation of application.
iii. UTME Result Slip - If you don't have this document, you can get the original by clicking here and following instructions
iv. Two recent passport-sized coloured photographs with the full names of candidate and signature on the reversed side of the photograph.
v. Four Figure Table (where applicable)
vi. Biro, 2B or 4B Pencil and Eraser

3) On-line application will start on Thursday, June 27, 2013.

4) Application website closes at 6.00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013.

AAU Admission Into Foundation Programmes For 2013/2014 Session

The Directorate of Foundation runs a two Semester Programme aimed at preparing candidates who could not gain admission into the University through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), but possess the minimum entry requirements, for admission into 100 Level in their respective courses.

The available degree options currently offered through the programme and with the entry requirements are as stated below:


FOUNDATION PROGRAMME IN AGRICULTURE:

The Foundation Programme in Agriculture prepares candidates for entry into any of the following degree options: Agriculture Economics, Animal Science, Crop Science and Soil Science.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in the WASC/GCE O’ Level/SSCE/NECO or NABTEB in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Agricultural Science or Biology at not more than two sittings. A pass in physics is acceptable for candidates with credit in chemistry.


FOUDATION PROGRAMME IN NATURAL SCIENCES

The Foundation Programme in the Sciences prepares candidates for entry into any of the following degree options: Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geo-physics, industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.

Oluwaseun Adaramoye, until her death was an undergraduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Lautech. Seun left her hostel last week Sunday to visit her boyfriend and that was the last time she was seen alive. “Seun Adaramoye was an 100 level accounting student, she stayed in Stadium area around Lawyer Ahmed Junction, she’s a hostel mate and also my friend. On Sunday evening (16th of June), we were all gisting outside the hostel as we normally do and around 5pm, Seun just said she’s coming and left. She was on casual outfits like all of us, so we thought she had gone to the junction to buy stuffs but she went to her best friend’s place not far from the hostel.

Auchi Polytechnic Opens New Campus Named After Dr Philipa Idogho.

Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, has opened a second campus housing at least four schools to boost its carrying capacity.

The schools of business studies, general studies, gender studies and its entrepreneurial village are housed on the new campus, named after its rector, Dr Philipa Idogho.

Education minister Ruqayyatu Rufa’i, who formally opened the campus said it was in line with attempts to promote technical and vocational education and training (TVET) across the country, emphasising its necessity for “our citizens develop the skills and competencies to enable them function effectively in society and help drive diverse sector of the economy.’’

The University of Benin UNIBEN Post Utme Screening Exercise for 2013/2014 academic session will take place on the 13th and 14th July 2013 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of UNIBEN. All candidates are expected to be seated, latest, one hour before the stipulated time for the screening exercise.
Only the candidates who chose UNIBEN as First Choice and scored 200 and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the Screening Exercise.

HOW TO APPLY FOR 2013/2014 UNIBEN POST UTME

Application Fee: 3550.0
Those applicants that could not upload their passport photographs but paid the application fee should come for the screening with:
  • the original JAMB slip and password photograph on it for identification,
  • a 1”x 1” passport photograph with a red background,
  • printouts of application and payment slips,
  • any other document that can generally identify the applicant
Applicants are to come to the screening centres with the following:
  • acknowledgement slip and bank teller for identification,

This is to inform all candidates, who chose Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) as first and/or second choice in the 2013 Direct Entry and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 and above, that they are invited to the University’s screening exercise for admission in 2013/2014 Academic Session.


SUBJECTS FOR SCREENING


Candidates will be screened for knowledge in the relevant UME subjects for their chosen course of study.

HOW TO REGISTER


Please note that registration should only be done using a computer system. Do not attempt to use your mobile phone or device.

1) Candidates are required to visit www.delsuonline.com to generate a virtual PIN with N2,000.00 (two thousand naira) only for the screening and for accessing the result online. This does not include bank charges of N1,000.

2)(a) Once the payment has been made. Candidates should come back to this publication and click here. On the page that loads up, click on "CONTINUE" to access the portal to complete your information. Enter the reference number given to you at the bank with their recent coloured passport sized photograph scanned to the JPEG format and not more than 20kb in size.

(b) Candidates are advised to use the virtual PIN immediately after payment, as it will be invalid after six (6) hours after its generation.

(c) Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the front page of the website before completing the form.

(d) Candidates must confirm the JAMB registration number at the point of application, as there will be no result for wrong JAMB registration numbers. The University will not be held responsible for wrong JAMB registration number entered and other errors made by any applicant at the point of application. Your application will not be successful if you enter a Local Government/State of original different from the one indicated on your JAMB registration form.

(e) Candidates must enter a valid mobile phone number and e-mail address with which the University will communicate with candidates on venue.

(f) Candidates should visit www.delsu.edu.ng to print venue of examination a day after closure of application form.

(g) Candidates are expected to identify their venue and seat number before the scheduled date of examination.

(h) Candidates are required to come to the screening venue with the following:
i. A copy of print-out of venue and seat number
ii. A copy of the Print-out of completed on-line confirmation of application.

iv. Two recent passport-sized coloured photographs with the full names of candidate and signature on the reversed side of the photograph.

AAU Admission Into Foundation Programmes For 2013/2014 Session

The Directorate of Foundation runs a two Semester Programme aimed at preparing candidates who could not gain admission into the University through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), but possess the minimum entry requirements, for admission into 100 Level in their respective courses.

The available degree options currently offered through the programme and with the entry requirements are as stated below:


FOUNDATION PROGRAMME IN AGRICULTURE:

The Foundation Programme in Agriculture prepares candidates for entry into any of the following degree options: Agriculture Economics, Animal Science, Crop Science and Soil Science.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in the WASC/GCE O’ Level/SSCE/NECO or NABTEB in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Agricultural Science or Biology at not more than two sittings. A pass in physics is acceptable for candidates with credit in chemistry.


FOUDATION PROGRAMME IN NATURAL SCIENCES

The Foundation Programme in the Sciences prepares candidates for entry into any of the following degree options: Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geo-physics, industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.

“Seun Adaramoye was an 100 level accounting student, she stayed in Stadium area around Lawyer Ahmed Junction, she’s a hostel mate and also my friend. On Sunday evening (16th of June), we were all gisting outside the hostel as we normally do and around 5pm, Seun just said she’s coming and left. She was on casual outfits like all of us, so we thought she had gone to the junction to buy stuffs but she went to her best friend’s place not far from the hostel.

Auchi Polytechnic Opens New Campus Named After Dr Philipa Idogho.

Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, has opened a second campus housing at least four schools to boost its carrying capacity.

The schools of business studies, general studies, gender studies and its entrepreneurial village are housed on the new campus, named after its rector, Dr Philipa Idogho.

Education minister Ruqayyatu Rufa’i, who formally opened the campus said it was in line with attempts to promote technical and vocational education and training (TVET) across the country, emphasising its necessity for “our citizens develop the skills and competencies to enable them function effectively in society and help drive diverse sector of the economy.’’
